ECDS: New Platform for All Disciplines
ECDS launches in Europe to unify dancers, offering a platform for all disciplines and seeking partnerships to elevate dance as a competitive sport.
ECDS: A New Era for European Dance Begins
In a groundbreaking move that promises to reshape the European dance landscape, the European Confederation of Dance Sports (ECDS) has officially commenced its operations on the continent. This ambitious initiative was spearheaded by passionate representatives of national ballroom dance organizations from various countries, all united by a common vision: to create a unified platform that caters to dancers of every level and across all dance disciplines.
A Unified Platform for All
The primary mission of ECDS is to establish a comprehensive European platform that transcends borders and dance styles. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a novice just starting your journey, ECDS aims to provide a supportive environment where dancers can thrive, compete, and connect with others who share their passion. This platform is not limited to just one form of dance but is inclusive of all dance disciplines, from the elegance of ballroom to the vibrant energy of street dance.
Expanding Horizons: Cooperation with Other Dance Organizations
ECDS is not just about ballroom dance; it's about bringing together the entire dance community. The organization is actively seeking partnerships with other dance organizations that are eager to develop their competitive edge and be recognized as equal sports. By collaborating with these groups, ECDS hopes to elevate the status of various dance forms, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and mutual respect within the dance world.
The Road Ahead
The journey has only just begun, and there is a wealth of exciting work ahead. From organizing competitions that set new standards in the dance world to hosting workshops and events that inspire and educate, ECDS is poised to become a central hub for European dance. The organization is committed to ensuring that every dancer, regardless of their background or experience, has the opportunity to shine on the European stage.
